Weekly Ojibwe Language Table

These weekly sessions entail the learning of the language of the Anishinaabe people of the Great Lakes Region in Michigan.  We are fortunate at the Nokomis Cultural Heritage Center to have fluent speakers in the language as our teachers.

Cultural Arts & WorkShops

Throughout the year, we offer varying workshops.  From traditional Black Ash Basket making and Sweetgrass Braiding to Greeting Card Making using the traditional language.
Join us for the fun and the experience.

Gallery

We have a wide collection of Anishinaabe cultural pieces. From spear heads, baskets to eagles nest and deerskin clothing, to Regalia clothing.
